It is also my life’s passion.  I am proud of my record of handlers and canines passing their certification requirements after coming to JT K9.  

 

However, I’m most proud of their exceptional preparedness, after completing my all-encompassing training protocol, to immediately deploy in law enforcement situations, where lives are at stake every day.

 

Whether it’s scent detection, tracking, trailing, patrol deployment, tactical deployment dog, or numerous other training needs, I can help you achieve almost any K-9 goal.

 

My 25 years in law enforcement, most of them in K-9 handling and training, give me real-world law enforcement experience in the devolvement (passing to another- post training) and deployment of law enforcement K-9s.

 

I have spent decades studying the dog psyche (theory and behavior) giving me a complete understanding of the working dog.  I can be helpful from the start, in advising with dog selection. I train K-9s for single or dual-purpose roles in all types of situations.

 

Following training, our relationship will be on-going, if the handler so chooses.  I will always be available for follow-up questions, training and communication.  Each dog has a personal importance to me.  I take great pride in their success, as part of your K-9 team.

 

I realize each K-9 is unique in its ability and each handler is too, at least initially.  I give personalized training and tailor the instruction to the needs of the K-9 unit and the department, while keeping in mind the environment, terrain and climate of deployment.
